Talked to your Grandparents-the Szentimrey's-they already knew about accident-have been watching your progress-glad to hear you are ok-they think you must have some pretty stubborn heritage-use it to your advantage.

Great work putting the pedal to the metal and catching up with the Brazilian! Get some well deserved rest so you can pedal on. Keeping you in my prayers too!

You know you are addicted to cycling when...

You hear someone had a crash and your first question is "How is the bike?"

You buy your crutches instead of renting.

You find your bike shoes to be the most comfortable and stylish shoes that you own.

Your bikes are worth more than your car.

You clean your bikes more often than you clean your house.

You regard inter-gender discussion of your genital pain/size/shape/utility as normal.

How to push Jason! We just got back from the Harricana last night and I am getting up to speed on your progress. I will be thinking about you and offering prayers for continued safety. Dig deep, as I know you will.... There are many of us providing "Canadian Support" from afar..... keep it up!!!

JASON! One more DNF - 4 people couldn't take it already - and I don't even think they got run over. Tell Dennis to make sure his girlfriend looks right, before she turns, next time...

Hey Crew - great job out there!
Now, I know some banana bread would really boost Jason's spirits - chocolate chip banana bread if you can find it - or, better yet, maybe one of you can whip up a batch, in that house on wheels, when you find a spare minute or two! I can send you my famous recipe if you need it - you just let me know..Big hugs and kisses to you all, and an extra big hug to Jason!

Gail! As IF they have time to BAKE BANANA BREAD! So sorry for my wife, crew - she just doesn't realize how hard you're working on no sleep. Besides, he probably needs a good shot - not banana bread - ring ring!!

Good job, J! Keep plugging, buddy. Really glad to hear you're okay despite being sketchy on any of the specifics. Can't be nearly as bad as the Huntsville Hospital boardwalk incident, right? :P

Cheering for you from afar,

M@

Wow Jay.... you made up some time!!! Keep at it and you can put those 2 guys (Hungarian and Austrian) behind you in the next 24 hrs! When it comes to road rash , i usually use light layer of polysporin (green) and cover it with 3D second skin dressing (Tegaderm™ ). It depends on the size of the burn , i think the largest is 10x12 cm ( 4x 4 3/4 in).
